Working collaboratively with children and young people, families, professional agencies and Local Authorities, LPW builds the strengths, abilities, talents and emotional well-being of those in their care, supporting them with exceptional play opportunities, youth work, positive intervention, education and training, and routes into work.

To keep up their ambitious work and continue to deliver support to vulnerable young people across Bristol, Learning Partnership West are seeking to diversify their governance to better represent the amazing people who grow and benefit from LPW services as well as those that work for LPW.

At LPW Independent School, the School Advisory Group plays a critical role in the governance structure and is responsible for the strategic oversight of the school. Now, LPW are looking for committed and passionate individuals with teaching experience in a mainstream school to help provide the crucial oversight it needs.

As a member of the School Advisory Group you will:

• Help advise the Board on the strategic direction of the School and educational services at LPW
  
  
• Be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of the performance of the school
