Funded by the National Lottery, on Tuesday 25th January BeOnBoard invites aspiring Trustees and organisations that value diversity to help co-create and inform a new approach to diversify the city's Boardrooms with under-represented talent. ASPIRE, aims to break barriers and disrupt the leadership status quo by diversifying boards with People of Colour to increase representation across the VCSE sector. ASPIRE will nurture eight emerging and established Trustees of Colour to help them advance and accelerate their Boardroom careers through a focussed programme of support, including training in governance, shadowing, mentorship with established Leaders of Colour and pathways to future Trustee opportunities. ASPIRE will empower four organisation to diversify their boards whilst increasing their ability to lead with diversity through workshops, reverse mentorship, and toolkits. Whether you’re an aspiring leader of colour, an established leader of colour or a VCSE organisation looking to diversify your board, if leading with diversity matters we strongly encourage you to attend.
